Sync my own calendar with Android Calendar

Hello,

 

I'm working on a Android project in order to get some experience with Android platform.

I'm at the beginning on my apps.

 

 On my page I have the calendar displayed on the top part.

One month is displayed and when someone clicks on a date, in the bot part of the screen a String is displayed with the selected date (ex: 28/04/2012)

 

My question is it possible to:

- sync my agenda with the Android calendar in my phone.

- when I click on a date, I would like to get all events(defined in Android calendar) on this date and get a String in order to be able to display it the bot part of my screen.

 

I don't know if it's possible, I think so, but actually I have no idea, where to begin and how to get event in Android Calendar for a selected date.
