Il s'agit d'une rom custom basée sur le firmware XXU1ANJ5 de la Galaxy Tab S Lte ( SM-T805 ).

Aprés avoir suivi de prés le forum original sur Xda, et à la lecture de quelques posts (post 1 - post 2), je me suis lancé pour installer cette rom sur la Galaxy Tab S Wifi ( SM-T800 ); et je confirme qu'elle est bien compatible avec ce modèle.

 

Attention : cette opération comporte des risques. Ni moi, ni le site FrAndroid.com seront responsables des problèmes rencontrés.

Pré-requis :

- Avoir une Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 suffisamment chargée.
- Avoir installé un recovery personnalisé ( voir tuto )

- Télécharger la rom : -XNote_build_1.0_T805_NJ5.zip

 

Installation :

- Copiez le fichier téléchargé sur votre stockage interne ou externe.

- Tablette éteinte, appuyez simultanément sur les touches : Volume Haut + Home + Power pour démarrer en mode recovery.

- Sauvegardez votre ROM au préalable (Assurez vous de disposer de l'espace nécessaire disponible, un Nandroid Backup peut occuper dans certains cas jusqu'à 4 Go)

- Effectuez un wipe data/factory reset

- Installez la ROM.

- Redémarrez ( Le premier démarrage peut prendre jusqu'à 5 minutes)

 

Options :

- Pour supprimer l’icône de notification signalant l'absence de réseau sur la SM-T800, il suffit de rajouter la ligne suivante dans le fichier build.prop (/system/) avec un explorateur de fichier ayant les droits root comme Solid Explorer ou Root Browser, ne fonctionne pas avec EsFileExplorer.
