Areas of Change

* Encryption! Sprite Backup is the only product on the market that can encrypt your backup.

You can now use AES-128 encryption (the US government encryption standard) to add extra protection to your data. Use the Settings menu to turn it on.

Using encryption will increase your backup/restore times slightly, but it's a small price to pay for the extra security.

Be warned, remember to keep your password safe, as we cannot recover it.

* Smaller files - We've managed to reduce the size of your backup files by up to 70%, freeing up more valuable space on your phone

* German Language Support

Issues Fixed from Previous Releases

* Some users were experiencing problems booting backup when a large number of third party apps were installed. This has now been fixed. Big thanks to Tony for his help.

* Fixed a bug when restoring photos to Hero would fail.

* When restoring media files, the progress bar now gives greater feedback to indicate your progress.

* Contacts that sync with Google will no longer sync after a restore.

* Full support for Contacts - Another first for Sprite, no other Android backup product supports Google sync when working with your contacts. We now backup and restore only the contacts that aren't synced anywhere. There isn't much point in backing up stuff if Google or HTC Sync already does it for you is there? Are half your contacts synced and the other half not? No problem, you'll get back what you need.

* HTC Hero Scene Support - You spend a lot of time customizing your home screens, so we now back them up too, even down to the Stock widget settings. Everything will be captured if you select 'System Settings'

* HTC Hero Application Settings - If you're using HTC's Twitter, Plurks and Footprints apps we now capture those settings (and your Footprint data) as part of 'Application Settings'.

* Instant Messenger Settings - For those IM users, 'Application Settings' now captures all your account details.

* APN Settings - Have you rooted your phone? Do you live on the bleeding edge of Android development? If so, entering APN settings can be a real chore. 'System Settings' now captures and restores APN settings.

* Multiple screen resolutions - There are a load of new Android devices coming out in the next few months (even some Netbooks!) and for the first time Android will be appearing on different screen sizes to ones you've seen so far. To get ready we've updated backup so it will work perfectly, no matter what size of screen you have.

* Contacts Updated - HTC have a different way of dealing with some contact fields, so we've updated to stay compatible with them.

quand j'avais fait un backup et restaurer, deux fois je lai fait, deja mes contacts je les avait plus, ni les applications téléchargées, ni les sms !!!

j'remonte un peu le topic car ils proposent sprite a 0.99$ pour noel et que 2 grosses mises a jours sont dispo

la possibilité de schedule les sauvegardes est vraiment un plus pour ceux qui oublient d'y faire :D

* Backup and Restore have now been fully tested and verfied to work on the Motorola Droid. Android 2.0 changed a lot of stuff at the backend so we've had to go through and retest the whole application. Getting a Droid to New Zealand was our biggest challenge (we have the only one in the country!) but once we had it things were plain sailing.

* Added phone make, model and Android version to log files that are emailed in.

* Update Notifications - Android isn't very good at telling you if we have an update, so we've put in our own system. The good news is it doesn't matter where you bought your copy of backup, the notification system will still work. It will check for an update every seven days. We plan on having another update next week (we're very excited about that one) so you should see the notification system in action then.

Très pratique à l'usage pour passer de ROM rapidement ! Je recommande à l'usage ! :)

Ne marche pas chez moi (hero et version 1.4.2.104) depuis les dernières mises à jour il me sort un message d'erreur après l'acceptation des CG et quand je veux sauver il n'arrête pas de dire que le nom de la sauvegarde ne doit comporter que des lettres ou chiffres (ce qui est le cas).

Ca fait 15 jours que je me dit que je dois leur envoyer un mail.

A noter que j'acheté l'appli car tout le monde en disait beaucoup de bien mais la seul fois où j'ai eu à faire un restore ça n'a marché qu'à moitié (version d'il y a 2 mois). Bref vraiment déçu/

je viens de réinstaller la rom modaco 3.1

et lorsque je veux réinstaller srite backup que j'ai acheté il y'a bien longtemps déja

ça installé la version 1.0.0.51 sur le market !!

du coup je ne peux pas restauré ma sauvegarde...

quelqu'un peux m'aider ??
