Installation

Step 1: Install Odin v1.85 on your computer then download and unrar the Lite'ning Rom rar file.

Step 2: Make sure that your phone is in USB debugging mode: Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB debugging.

Step 3: Reboot your phone into download mode. To do so: Turn the device off, then power it on again by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Home + Power on simultaneously.

Step 4: Start Odin.

Step 5: Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.

Step 6: Wait a few seconds, the Odin screen will show that a device is now connected... Added!!

* Make sure that in Odin nothing is checked, except the "Auto reboot" and "F. Reset Time" checkboxes.

* Press the "PDA" button, and select the md5 file.

* Press "Start". Odin will now flash the Lite'ning Rom, after flashing your phone should reboot.

Unrar the file and flash it with Odin v1.85 as a PDA image, don't use a PIT file and don't tick Re-Partition.

Step 7: Done! Now you have a fully rooted SGS II with the Lite'ning Rom installed!

Je tourne avec celle là depuis quelques jours. Pas de souci à signaler.

Je précise que j'ai viré le widget horloge et celui de la chaîne météo

J'aimerai directement installer cette rom...mais je suis un noob :)

Est-ce que c'est la même manip au départ que celle du root () ?

Y a-t-il des choses à installer avant (je viens d'installer Kies 2).

Comme dit dans le premier post installer la ROM n'efface rien, pour revenir en arrière c'est une autre histoire.

Je suis en train de l'essayer, ça a l'air un peu mieux niveau batterie même si c'est toujours très juste, aussi ça vaut ce que ça vaut mais le score quadrant s'est envolé à 4259 sans rien modifier.

Comment arrivé a de tel score sur quadrant , j'arrive à peine à 3200 avec la ROM, faut dire que j'ai beaucoup de jeu d'installé

En ce moment mon tel freeze et obligé d'enlever la batterie de mon tel pour faire un reboot, on va testé cette rom peut être qu'elle réglera le problème.

j'ai mis cette rom et ça a l'air d'aller niveau batterie

je l'a chargé, puis je l'ai utilisé pendant une heure intensivement, internet en wifi etc... je suis passé de 100% a 90% pour une heure d'utilisation. c'est plutôt pas mal quand je compare a avant qui me bouffait 10% pour une demi heure

apparement non, tu places la Rom directement dans odin et tu lances (mode download bien sur)... rien d'autre à faire ;)

Cette rom a changé ma vie!!Je l'ai mise ce matin et les applis ne s'emballent plus (avant au bout de 10/15 minutes en moyenne avec la vilainrom et les rom officiel 1/2 et 7 les applis consommaient toutes la ressource cpu, ce qui figeait et faisait chauffer le tel au point d'être brulant ,après il s'éteignait,surement une sécurité)

Là c'est la joie, je peux enfin profiter vraiment du s2.

Bon j'ai désinstaller et réinstaller tegrak overclock et ça fonctionne ça fait du bien

Bien envie de l'installer car pareil, mon tel devient brulant au bout de quelques minutes de jeu (pourtant un tower defence ça prend pas tant que ça m'enfin!) et la batterie se vide vraiment vite (20min de web = -10%)

Une question : faut être root pour la mettre ou pas? si j'ai bien compris un des post du thread non, mais confirmation? merci!

Edit : quelqu'un qui l'a installé peut il me confirmer quelque chose?

Avec la ROM "d'origine" quand on appuie sur dévérouiller, on voit l'écran de verouillage s'afficher, mais avant (genre une demi seconde) on voit notre bureau s'afficher, ça le fait encore avec?

et si par la suite il y a une maj vers 2.3.4 ça se passera comment si on a cette rom? (newbie :P)

Salut à tous! C'est mon premier post sur le forum donc enchanté.. :D

Mais je suis depuis un moment les discussions du forum, parce que je suis l'heureux possesseur d'un génialisime Galaxy s2!( Et avant ça d'un Galaxy s premier du nom... )

Tout ça pour dire que j'ai testé la ROM mais que je suis pas convaincu.. Et que je voudrai bien retourner sur une ROM d'origine Type KE7. Je peux y retourner via Odin en PDA etc, sans autre pas vrai?

Parce qu'il y a un truc que je comprends pas trop.. Une fois qu'on est Root, si on re-flashe un firmware Type KE2 ou KE7 on perd le Root ou pas? Il faut le re-Rooter après?

ma batterie tient largement plus qu'avant, sur batterie depuis 10h30, je l'ai utilisé en internet, vidéo etc... il me reste 63%!
